About Us

Gahagan Architects is a small architecture firm located in Locust Valley, New York. They have been producing high end residential architectural design on Long Island’s North Shore for over twenty years. The Principal, Robert Gahagan, was trained at the Institute for Architecture and Urban Studies in Manhattan, and received his B Arch degree from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. Licensed in 1992, he has been directing Gahagan Architects since 1993. Our projects range in scale from beautifully detailed bathrooms to small accessory buildings and custom new homes exhibiting a traditional design ethos with strong respect for current architectural trends and evolution.

Gahagan Architects is a full service firm providing services from inception through construction and to completion of any alteration, addition, renovation, or new construction. We have completed projects throughout Long Island and the Tri-State area, as well as, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Florida and the Bahamas.
